ソノマのRussian River Valley地区のワイン・イベント「Pinot on the River」が10月26～28日に開催されます。ワイン・カントリーで開かれるPinot Noirのイベントとして人気が高いものです。9月中にチケットを買うと割引があります。

28日（日曜日）の「Artisanal Pinot Noir Grand Tasting at Russian River Vineyards」がメイン・イベントで80以上のワイナリが参加します。参加リストにはKosta BrowneとかNative9とかW.H. SmithとかA.P. Vinだとか，新進気鋭の名前がずらり。EtudeとかPatz&Hallといった今や大御所的な風格があるワイナリもいろいろ。Freemanも参加しています。（これらすべてが日曜日のテイスティングに参加するのかどうかは不明です，念のため）"Pinot On The River is a full-immersion weekend of Pinot Noir, featuring a full program of in-depth tastings and seminars, vineyard tours and sumptuous food."
