ワイン・ブログの老舗で，イベントごとに詳細なレポートを報告しているVinographyに，ようやく6月のPinot Daysの記事が掲載されました。著者のAlder氏に子供が産まれたため，資料を整理する時間がなかなか取れなかったということです。

記事ではPinot Daysの総評として，2006年のヴィンテージについて考察しています。結論として2006年は当初2005年よりだいぶいいと思われたが実際にはやや弱いヴィンテージであり，特にソノマ・コーストやRussian River Valleyのワインにはvolatile acidity（VA＝揮発酸，詳しくは幻ワインの私市さんの記事を参照）を感じることが多かった，とのことです。

と，Santa Rita HillsやSanta Maria Valleyには比較的いいものが多く，2002～2003ヴィンテージのころ目立った過度の熟成やアルコール度の高いものは少なくなったとのこと。
