以前から格安で売られているハーランの別プロジェクト「Bond」のMatriarchですが，エサキホンテンではいま2006年が税込みで9455円。米国の小売では最低税抜き115ドルくらいなので，それよりも安いです。
なお，2006年のWine Advocate誌でのレイティングは90点。前年の93点と比べると少し低くなっています。パーカーのコメントは「Starting with the Matriarch, this wine is the easiest to drink young. Dark plum/purple, with plenty of smoke, black currants, espresso roast, oak, and chocolate, the 2006 is dense, round, and best drunk over the next decade. 」と早飲みにはよさそうです。
