サラトガのワイナリKathryn Kennedyの創設者であるKathryn Kennedyさんが先月亡くなられたそうです。ご冥福をお祈りします。

キャスリン・ケネディは1973年に創設。ブレンドしないカベルネ・ソヴィニョン100％の味わいを追及してきました。現在は息子さんに家督を譲っていますが，昔からのワイン作りは変えていないとのことです。

私の在米時，サラトガやロス・ガトスのワインショップに行くとここのワインが売っていました。地元ということで気にはなっていましたが，当時から100ドルを超えていたため，結局飲まずじまいだったのが残念です。
