先日お伝えした，Roy Estateという新興ワイナリがヘレン・ターリー夫妻を契約不履行で訴えた件は和解で決着したそうです。
"Press Release, Napa, California, June 2006---Charles and Shirley Roy, owners of Roy Estate, a 17-acre vineyard on Soda Canyon Road in the heart of the Napa Valley, are happy to announce the settlement of their lawsuit with Helen Turley and John Wetlaufer in Napa County Superior Court on May 31. The terms of the settlement are confidential."

条件は公開されていませんが，ヘレン・ターリーにとっては失うものこそあれ，得られるものが全くなさそうなこの訴訟，公判で好奇の目にさらされるよりは和解した方が得策なのは明らかだと思います。
