売却額はDecanter誌の推測では1億1000万ドル，Wine Spectator誌の推測では1億2000万～1億5000万ドルだそうです。

ドルが弱く，ユーロが強い現状では欧州に投資するより米国に投資する方が有利という判断は容易にできるものと推察され，今後も欧州資本による，米国ワイナリの買収は起こる可能性が高そうです。

なお，Robert Parkerは"one of the biggest stories in his three decades in the wine industry"と感想を述べています。
