柳屋のピノ特集に今日はRoarが出ています。2002のRosella'sと2006のPisoni。Rosella'sとGarys'のオーナー（Garys'は共同オーナー）であるGary Franscioni氏のワイナリであるRoarはいわば本家の一つであり，評価も高いです。特に2006のPisoniは公開されたばかりのWine Advocate誌#180で96点を取ってRobert Parkerに“Pinot Noir of the Vintage”の候補の一つと評価されています。

it boasts a deep plum/ruby color as well as a gorgeous bouquet of roasted herbs, truffles, underbrush, forest floor, black cherries, black currants, raspberries, and sweet earth. The complex aromatics are followed by a prodigiously concentrated palate, silky tannins, broad, expansive, multilayered flavors, and a sumptuous finish. This decadently rich, complex Pinot Noir should drink nicely for 5-7 years.
