柳屋にNovyのナパ・シラーが2980円で出ています。Novyはピノノワールのスペシャリストとして知られているSiduriのAdam Leeの別ブランドでSyrahを中心にChardonnay，Zinfandel，Grenacheといったワインを作っています。Siduriと同様，コストパフォーマンスの高さが売り。今回のNapa Valley Syrahは米国では20ドル程度とさらに安いですがWine Advocate誌で91点など高く評価されています。Robert Parkerのコメントは

The 2007 Syrah is a textbook effort revealing notes of pepper, forest floor, black olives, earth, and copious black fruits. It is a fleshy, round, dense wine with gorgeous purity as well as a long, heady finish.
