カリフォルニアの大学でワインというとUC Davis（カリフォルニア大学デーヴィス校）が有名ですが，ソノマ州立大もワインのプログラムに力を入れ始めているそうです。

UC Davisはワインの醸造関係を教えており，その分野では世界的にも有名ですが，こちらはテイスティング・ルームの管理とかワインによる起業とかを教えているのが面白いところ。ワインメーカーだけではワイナリはできないわけですから，こういう教育も必要なわけですね。ちょっと興味を持ちました。
