プルミエ・ナパヴァレー・オークションはプロ向けのオークションで、6月に開催される一般向けのオークションとは大きく異なります。一般向けのオークションはディナーやツアーなどワイン以外のイベントを含むものが多くありますが、こちらはワインのみ。このオークション専用に作られたもので、ラベルもすべてのワイナリーで共通のデザインのものを使うことや本数の制限などもあります。ワインは後日リリースされることになります。ワイナリーはワインをオークション用に寄付し、収益はナパヴァレー・ヴィントナーズによって使われます。
